Oh crap it happened today.This is not right to early for me, I don't mind the high high idle, but this crap has to stop

I think All you have to do is touch the throttle and it stops doesnt it? you could also just plug it in.

Truck went into 3 cylinder warm up.(smarty) Sounds like it's going to come apart. But my pyro did read at 700 at idle

According to the letter posted some years back from a Dodge Corp rep the way they sound was the main reason the factory turned this Cummins feature off. To many folks got mad cause they're trucks were fallin apart, they thought.

I hate to plug the truck in cause if I do the high idle won't kick in and it takes forever for the truck to warm up.

I agree with ya there. They will never warm up at normal idle. But it's to early in the season for the 3 cylinder to kick in.

my old 12 valver always seems to warm up pretty quick.....as long as ive had mine, its never seen any weather under about 40* for no longer than a few hours though....
