Now if you had a exhaust brake and got 3 cylinder idle to hit...

The pyro takes off to 800-850*F and you coolant temp rises very rapid. I'm building a high idle switch to fool the IAT sensor...

Either a dealer can turn it on for about $100-$120 bucks or you can barrow a Smarty and get it for FREE!

As a warning on doing any re-flash to your truck by the dealer. Sometimes this process does some bad things to your truck. Been several cases of guys losin fuel mileage after having this done along with several other problems. Not just the re-flash for the high idle but any of them. For most it turns out just like it's supposed to but it's a gamble and if it goes wrong it's not reversible. They don't know why this happens, it just does.

This is one reason why I used A Smarty for the High idle feature...

Yep, that's the way it's supposed to work.

I asked Bob Wagner if I could barrow one and sure enough he sent his personal Smarty to me in the mail so I could play...

But after I was done I got the software and I'm set!

It sounds like a 3 cylinder John Deere or Yanmar.
