My consoles lid is screwed up you have to push it to or three times to get it to open sometimes it wont open and most times it doesn’t want to close is there anyway to fix this or do I need to get a new center consol/lid?

Good pair of vise grips, and you turn the pin on the console counter clockwise a half turn or so, whatever gets it to work properly.

I had the same problem with all my trucks, but only after putting a cupholder that hangs off the front of the center console lid in the truck.

I had that cupholder on both of my 5 speeds. I know what your talking about ill try it but this is different. Like somthing in the latch is broken.

my truck does this to occasionally. I usually just push the button in with one hand and hit (lightly ) on the top of the consol and it opens. I remember seeing a consol for sale on another forum I think it was DTR in teh clean up section it was something like $50 cant remember exactly.
