Default HID's

alright im going to buy some hids so that i can see at night when im driving, what temperature do you guys think i should get, im thinking 6000k or 8000k

6k, they are **** about blue headlights here in Ohio so I didnt get the 8k, the 6's are bright

I got the 10000, and I love them, have not been pulled over yet, they are very blue.

i got the 8K's and they are mighty blue too.... i love mine.... best mod for night driving so far. be careful though some of the HID kits are only for low beams. mine are. but they are bright enough i never "need" high beams. i've seen 3 different types of HID's. the ones i have that are just low beams, there are oned that have motorized that adjust the angle of the bulb for low and high beam, and then there are the low/high low being the HID and the high being a halogen bulb...... look at all the kits out there and remember that cheaper isn't always better....

pilothid.com makes a good set of lights with a decent warranty and reasonable price.

i bought mine from a friend that owns www.ledgauges.com mine were $220 over a year ago. i think they have come down. he offers a 1 year warranty through him so there is no having to deal with the manufacturer BS.....

The set I looked at for my truck was $175 for low beams and $160 for the fogs.
