Bushwacker fender flares or not??

I have the pocket style on mine n didn't have a problem yet. Had both fronts off about a dozen times a piece to get the inner wheel wells out.

the vibs tend to buff the paint off over time

Oh trust me, the flares are rubbing... Chances are he just hasn't seen the effects of it yet. It's not going to happen overnight because it's such a small movement but it is wearing down the paint. Like I said before, it's the same story with roof racks, mud flaps, etc

They are held in by the 3 screws through the lip of the fender and into clips in the inner wheelwell. So to get the inner out the flares have to come out also. I will definately keep an eye on them though.

I was just suggesting that if you were worried about the paint rubbing off, just leave them on the truck and you would never know if the paint rubbed or not

the factory front mud flaps rubbed the paint off of my truck. didnt notice untill I installed 315 tire and had to remove them. I like the 3m idea.

i got the fender flares on my 97 and yes i took them off one day just to see how the body was under them and i have a line all the way around where the flares sit aginst my fender that no longer has any paint...but i still love em!!!
