Default hid's are a pain in the

got some projector housings with 6k hid's. installed them and had a bad ballast to start. sent the bad one in and waiting for the new one. the other side i have no problems...but when i turn the lights, my highbeam indicator comes on yet the highbeams arent on. they are only low beam bulbs. also when i turn my fogs on they come on for a second and then go off by themselves and the highbeam indicator comes on again...and this is when just the fogs are on and not the headlights. does this sound like a relay problem? i have put capacitors in between the balast and the headlight connection due to the ballast having a dirty 12 volts. do i need to get a relay harness or some resistors to fix this problem? never had this until the hid's went in.

you get much beter voltage using relay with power coming strait from battery and using factory wires so energize relay it will work much better. your factory wiring is marginal at best for high out put lights
