Soundproofing behind the dash

Soundproofing behind the dash
Anybody done it? Is it worth it? I have my dash torn out right now and I was thinking of things I could do while it is out.
I wasn't really planning out starting my soundproofing project just yet, so I'll have to order some stuff. But since it was on my to-do list I thought I might just go ahead and slap some stuff in there.
That is, if It's worth the effort? The upper firewall seems to have a lot of angles too it. Not to mention it already has some insulation on it(which I would remove) So I'm not sure CLD tiles would be the big of a help. But Maybe some MLV and CCF would provide some help? I'm not sure just how much sound all the plastic in the Dash will block.

I have not soundproofed the firewall yet as I have not had the dash out, but I would highly recommend doing it if you have the dash out already. I soundproofed the rest of the truck, everything but the firewall, and saw a reduction of a little over 10db in the cab. It was well worth it to me, the only real noise I have now is from the engine... can't wait to get the firewall done (hopefully next summer) to reduce the in-cab noise even further...
