here's what ur gonna probably find out. i did. the headlining material isn't coming off so much as the backing material is degrading. that's what mine is doing. i've attempted several reglues and it's alosing battle. the backing material is simply falling apart and nothing can stick to it.

So...is it a lost cause, Chimpo? Did you do anything to yours?
Dr...i think the spray I used was a 3M product. It is a spray adhesive we sell to upholstery shops that use it to adhere fabric to backing materials. I really thought it would work, but as Chimpo said, if the backing material is degrading, I may have a real hard time finding something to work.
Anybody else have a ideas.

sucky part is you and i don't have quad cabs. looking at the set up i'm thinking the rear window has to get yanked to replace the stupid headliner. not sure tho.

shouldnt have to ..
take it to a local upholstry shop and see if they have magic in a can
(real product) its commercial use only so you wont be able to find it. or see if they can fix it.. upholstry shops arent as expesive as you think. i had my leater seat in my ram complely redone, refoamed and a entire new leather panel for less than 200.

i tried the 3m stuff here at work. lasted about a week b4 it started to look like hell again. i found out about the headliner backing when i was doing my cab lights. kept losing little pieces.
