Default What's The Turbo Difference

I looking to buy an HX35 for my 01 2500 auto. Ive seen a few HX35W's for sale. Is there a difference between the HX35 and the HX35W. Also are either a direct bolt in or do I need some kind of adapter......Thanx

The W means it has a wastegate. All HX35's from a Dodge truck will have a wastegated housing unless they've been modified with a different one (16 cm is the most common). And you won't need any adaptors as long as it comes out of a Dodge truck.

I've been a motorhead but these diesel pickups are a whole new breed. Very few even proffesional mechanics know how to work on these things. They try, but usually make things worse.
