Front brake help
I'm posting this for a friend as I have no clue about the new dodge trucks. I need some help from DODGE EXPERTS.
My friend has a 2001 1500 with less than 50K miles. He only drives it 10 miles to work and back daily. Problem is that he's already replaced the front brakes twice and is in process of doing it again today. Rear brakes have already been replaced too but they weren't worn out.
Is there a cure or is it just crappy brakes and the system needs an upgrade. He's on his way to have the rotors turned as I type this. He says the truck stops really well it just eats pads like crazy. The caliper pins aren't rusty or corroded and the pads are wearing very evenly. Truck doesn't pull one way or the other and the brake fluid was recently changed even though it was very very clear.
