Who the hell even started the "Ford owns Cummins" rumour anyways? or, how did it get started?

 

I HEAR THIS ALOT, I ALWAYS SAID IF FORD OWNED CUMMINS THEY WOULD BE STUPID NOT TO RUN THEM IN THEIR TRUCKS

 

im kinda curious also.. Isnt Cummins a publicly owned company anyways? so like if you bought a share of cummins you would own a certian percentage?. idk. Like i got some shares of Caterpiller so i guess that means i own caterpiller ..Ford owns a share of cummins?? ..heck i dont know im just ramblin
