I have a 96 Cummins and I know that the turbo housing is very restrictive and I know that the 93 Cummins that I have has a larger turbo housing from the factory. But the 93 is non-wastegated and my 96 is. Although I do have an aggressive camplate and injectors, what would it hurt to put the larger (93 model) turbo on my 96?
I am a diesel mechanic by trade but I work on Cat engines and I have a turbo off of a C15 ACERT that Im thinking about puttin in series with one of the two, if anyone has ANY info that they can help me with, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
