i don't know a CAT number but i do know that Ford Motorcraft makes a nice filter that'll work. FL-896 most dealerships will want between $12-$25 for it. i pay $8.17 each. and when the dealer i normally get them from is out i call around and when they quote me a high price i tell them what i've been paying and they sell it to me for that. that must be their shop rate that i get them for..... just another option....

Why dont you call one of our Sponsors - Genos Garage?
http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo.asp?number=LF3894 - hard to beat that price
You can order a bunch of Fleetguard Stratapores (LF 3894) and get them delivered right to your door. I know its says that its for a 24V but its a better filter than the 12V Microglass filter and will work just fine on your 12V.

I agree with the doc...when pops had the 2001 ran stratapore everything...was gettin em from scheids...then found out geno's was cheaper. I run the same oil filter that my dad does on his hpcr. I love that they all fit. I think we might order a case now that we have two. Are they that much cheaper by the case?
