Where are you finding a Walbro lift pump system w/ pump for $250 - $270? Might want to let the members in on that deal.

Glacier Diesel has theirs for $419 and Wide Open Diesel is $170 w/o pump.

I wouldn't know about the cost thing because i'm in a different country then y'all. But as far as the ULSD eating through stuff - this is true. Not sure specifically on that particular pump because I don't use them.

Well I always like to give our sponsors first crack...

But, since you brought it up...www.wideopendiesel.com has the line kit for $170 and the Walbro pump can be found at various suppliers and on e-bay for $105-125 or so...

So, its around $285 give or take a few $$...

Aint nothing wrong with finding something that works at a cheap price, I realize I don't always have the best deals or the best products for a person's needs. I'd rather them get the right part for their need at the best price then sell em the wrong part for to much money.

Fact is there are tons of lift pump replacement systems out there, they all cater to a need. And ya really can't go wrong with an upgraded set-up since the stock system is so poor.

And while we're covering prices of various stuff. Vulcan's pusher pump kit is $100 + the cost of a pump.

I have ran across the 392 Glacier System on Ebay for $395 with free shipping. I have been leaning towards the Glacier System myself when I do make the change, but IF they are having issues with the Walbro pumps and the ULSD, I may have to look at some others a bit more strongly.

I would have to say if you have the $$$$ get the FASS System or the Pump. If your on a limited budjet its hard to beat the BD Kit. Now you can find some great deals on ebay, but you need to also make sure they are authorized dealers so you get the warranty.

That is a big thing to consider when purchasing anything new off Ebay for a drastically lower price. Also is the customer service after the sale, are they going to be there or is it just some fly by night operation? Not trying to slam Ebay but those are just some things that need considering if your buying a product with a warranty.

IMO if you dont have the $$ for a FASS , PSI Component , Air Dog , RASP Pump go with a Vulcan Carter set up till you do
