One thing I could not compare is what the difference on the dyno would be if the stock fan was fully engaged and running.I would be willing to bet if the stocker was in total lockup then the HP difference would have alot more significant.I really didn't look at it that way and late last nite when chatting with fellow TDR/DTR member B Kirk he was the one who reminded me of that and I thanked him...............Andy

Thanks for your write up Hammer... I've really wanted to check that set up out... i hate the darn stock fan in the summer time seems like that's all i hear when i drive my truck this time of the year... and watching my temp gauge go over 190 scares the heck out of me but she cools down

farmboy, dieselnut, have your customers also reported mileage gains? 3mpg is a big improvement!

I have not heard yet. I would assume the biggest amount of gain would be when the fan would be cycling often, like when pulling with the AC on or in traffic. I like the fact that you can put it on a manual switch and use it to suck cool air through the intercooler and radiator before racing or run em full bore while pulling a sled to help the intercooler work better.

All he left out was the price. Good write up. Think I may have to do one of these myself.
