has any1 done the do it yourself rhino liner bed thing?

buddy of mine did it, the kit from the auto zone, i didn't think it turned out that nice, he didn't keep the truck long after he did it, but you could tell it wasn't going to last long, started to fade and peel after a couple of months. and i am sure he didn't do it halfed assed or anything, he has painted a few times before. i have line-X on my chevy 2500 for work that was done perf. and it is holdin up real real well.

my buddy and i did it on his rockers aand you just have to take your time to make it look nice. it is just like my turbo liner but 500$ cheaper.

Did use herculiner a couple of times and did exactlyas direction said to do and within a couple of months the liner was pulling off, have come across a new stuff which is sprayed on with a gun that they sell with the product which looks like what I am going to try and use on a flatbed that i built for my 79 gmc. it is called protex made by SEM automotive Web site is SEMautomotive .com

dont get hurculiners is junk get the duplicolor ive had it over a year and it has held up to drunk people, mudding rocks, road salts and gravel. theat stuff is tough if it is preped correctly, and done in a heater area

The last owner that had my truck before i bought it put on the do it yourself crap.It was peeling off when i bought my truck,hated the way it looked and had the line-x put on.much better.

thought about getting the herculiner. guess ill go with something diff. Just didnt want to pay crazy money that i dont have. Good advice though.

herculiner sucks if it doesnt peal off it will wash off
