Bed Liner?
has any1 done the do it yourself rhino liner bed thing?
|
buddy of mine did it, the kit from the auto zone, i didn't think it turned out that nice, he didn't keep the truck long after he did it, but you could tell it wasn't going to last long, started to fade and peel after a couple of months. and i am sure he didn't do it halfed assed or anything, he has painted a few times before. i have line-X on my chevy 2500 for work that was done perf. and it is holdin up real real well.

my buddy and i did it on his rockers aand you just have to take your time to make it look nice. it is just like my turbo liner but 500$ cheaper.
|
my rockers look great for $60

Did use herculiner a couple of times and did exactlyas direction said to do and within a couple of months the liner was pulling off, have come across a new stuff which is sprayed on with a gun that they sell with the product which looks like what I am going to try and use on a flatbed that i built for my 79 gmc. it is called protex made by SEM automotive Web site is SEMautomotive .com

dont get hurculiners is junk get the duplicolor ive had it over a year and it has held up to drunk people, mudding rocks, road salts and gravel. theat stuff is tough if it is preped correctly, and done in a heater area
