duallys definatly make it nicer for towing big loads because of the extra stability, also in a secoung gen dodge a dually can haul heavyer loads becasu of the leaf springs are bigger. a 2500 can be clasified as a 1ton if its the dana 80 rear but it still dont have the leaf springs the 3500 1ton duallys have on them

if you can afford it, i would go with a newer CR. untill you pull your hair out tryin to find an older truck that doesn't allready have a dozen miles, and that you need to put money into, you could already be sitin in a newer truck thats ready to roll. theres nothing wrong with 1st or 2 gen. i love the way the look, but everyone that i have seen already has a ton of money into it(which they will want an arm and a leg for it), or it is beat to heck. my brother just bought a gasser with a ton of miles on it and he thought he was saving money on an already lifted truck, but now he has to rebuild motor and trans. for that price and what he paid for it, he could have bought something newer with less headachs. just my $0.02
