Default Checking For Boost Leak

i need some help puttin together an adaptor to check for boost leaks. ive got some 4'' pvc i need a piece of 4''id hose to hook to the turbo snout thatll hold 50 psi..the only one i had was ready to pop at 20 psi

help me get this checked out nd ill be there jsut fer ****s and grins

Might have to try a home center/hardware store. I got lucky and had an adapter off an intake hit. Why they make em a bast size O.D. I'll never know.

suhweet..that werked....found a bunch of leaks. easy fixes but still dont boost over 32 EXCEPT...when the truck is really haulin heavy...hauled hay with it and it made bout 40 psi..good cuz i got no studs..so...why wont it boost up without being loaded to the ***..the comp and smarty sw6 run made 1250 egt at maybe 35 psi bosst...the smarty only on sw6 made bout 1300 at 40..any clues??

overfueling puttin out the fire??

bout 45..but ene with it piched off i got no more..bd says wire the gate shut or pull it to see if its mechanically lkg by....but theyre really no help...like i didnt already think of that. but f'in g with the exhasut sucks so i didnt do it yet

Pressure it back up, and check for a leak between the turbo and compressor housing.

looked good there..that was the end i worked from. the only hing left i can think of is the wastegate actually leaks by.

it makes 5lbs more boost w/the comp off and just the smarty and especially if ive got a good heavy load on it. itll spike it over 40 then...but just for a second..soon as it spools up alittle it looses the boost press..drops about 5 lbs

One thing I found after I finally got all my leaks fixed and put the new silicone hoses on it is that it wouldn't make as much boost for normal driving. It didn't need it, it was making as much power with less boost after all that so the truck didn't waste fuel buildin boost. All those extra PSI's were just compensating for the leaks. Lower psi means better fuel mileage.

thats kinda the story bd is givin me..the whole ''its more efficient speech'' and im kinda cool with that i guess...it sure does seem to run better but it just doesnt give me that 13.50 et im lookin for is all....i dont think there is anything else i can do to get me where i wanna be cept for abigger turbo and im not gonna go for a set of headstuds
