suspension issue
ok so i should re-center the trackbar to the frame using that alignment tool? adjust the tierod adjustment sleeves to make the steering wheel straight again. and you think the pulling to the right has to do with the control arm cam bolts right? i dont know if this will play a role in it but i can grab the driver side upper and move it by hand
Welcome to my world. I just ordered a new set of poly bushings last night for the arms, Body mounts and Rear springs from LMC Trucks. All my stock rubber bushings that are left on the truck are all trashed. That control arm being that lose will deffinately play a role here cause you axle is shifting for forward and backward with that slop making your axle, not straight on the roadway so to speak when your going over un-even terrain.
On my truck the cam bolts are always set at one side +2 degrees and the other at -2 degrees, don't remember which side is which without lookin though. This allows for the crown.
I'm not gonna comment on the tie rod to adjust the steering wheel cause there is some variables in that one. If it's a minor adjustment it's fine but if you move that bar to much it throws other things out of alignment and you need a shop to do a complete alignment on it. Personally when my steering wheel was sittin sideways I unhooked the Steering shaft and turned the wheel where i needed it and reconnected it back up in that position so I didn't have to pay the shop again.
