Default Infinity Sound

I might be getting the 6 disc changer and all 7 speakers w/ amps for my truck. Was wondering how good the sound clarity of the Infinity system is.

Simple trade for my Banks High Ram. Guy is parting out a wrecked truck.

Keep the Banks High Ram! The Infinity system SUCKS! I've been through 3amps, 2 sets of front speakers, 1 set of rear. The 2nd set of front's just went out, 40k on the truck, NO goodwill assistance from Dodge because it's been a problem since day 1. I ripped out the front speakers and installed some Alpines, the rears are next. My bro has the stock radio in his 04.5 and it sounds better then the Infinity in my truck!

The Infinity system rules!

Yea, eventhough you are getting it for a steel, I'd save my money and upgrade to some good components. I'm thinking about getting some kicker components for 65 dollars open box. Go to your local circuit city and see if they have some stuff open boxed. We just got new planograms as far as what to have on display and some of ours got moved. Your local store might be closing too. 155 stores nationwide. Mines not one though.

Best Buy would be the same thing. I do have some Rockford speakers, 6.5 and 6x9, but I hate the thought of having to mod the door to make them fit. Suppose to be the same size as the factory speakers.

My brother and I both have the Infinity, and mine sounds like complete shat compared to his. Maybe somoene has swapped the speakers though, how big of a pain is it to change the fronts??

It's not too bad, the reason I mention circuit city is the fact that we're closing some stores, they'll have good deals on open box speakers.

I'm not even sure where the closest one is.
