if you figure that out, you'd be a millionaire.
uncle bubba is right. the gear box will tighten your steering right up. but first thing first. get the trac bar on and be able to keep the truck on the road safely. as for the heim joint. It isnt a must to replace. I had some extra money and wanted a cheaper alternative for replacement and wanted to be a guinea pig. It worked out well for me so well that many followed.
ill end up geeting that end as soon as get get back from vacation, the track bar is supposed to be in the 5th, and im leaving the 7th for canada so ill see how it works as for aligning it is it a pain in the *** or is it pritty siple to do, ive tone tie rod ends and adjustment steaves before if that helps
The real way is to install it and measure against the frame on both sides to find the center point. When I first installed it so many years ago I just made it match up with the stock track bar holes by holding it next to it before I installed it and it worked perfectly.
If you have a welder handy slap a few tack welds on that bracket. Doesn't take much, just enough to keep it from vibrating. Been some guys in the past complain cause the bracket would'nt stay tight. I ran mine for quit a while before I welded it and had no issues with it but got paranoid after reading about it so slapped a few quick ones on there.
