Hey guys i need a lil help. i looked over my cummins today and saw that the plug ins that go to the ecm and vp44 still have yellow stickers on them that say VOID. My question was does this mean that they are stock and never tampered with/changed, or do dealerships put these stickers on everytime after they change these kind of things. I ask cause i got the truck from the dealership and i wanna know all about it cause i just dont trust salesman. And also they say the previous owner put a chip in it but i have not seen any evidence of this, except to lil holes under the steering wheel were a proframmer could of possible been. Sorry i know its alot to ask for but i know this is a great place to find help.

 

They put the void stickers on there so they can tell if someone tampered with the plugs for reasons unknown voiding the warranty on the pump.

 

look on the fuse box under the hood see if there are any clean spots where double sided tape or velcro could of been holding a chip on.

 

ok i see why the would put those stickers know, so im guessing the vp is still stock, man not bad for 148k i guess, and i will check the under hood fuse box tomorrow, didnt think of that. But i really appreciate it guys.
