Default Thinking Of A New Project

have an older chassis car that needs updating and was really thinking of making it a cummins power racer. So what motor and trans should I run.... thinking 12vppump but what size pump whats best year to start with and what auto tranny. don't want to start off to radical just a single turbo with a good fuel plate and injectors too I guess...

just to get an idea of the car size/weight, what is your intended vehicle? as for the trans choice, are you trying to decide between a 47re and 48re? I would think the 48 would be a better choice if you're going to be racing this thing...

id go with a 24v p-pumped(more air to burn more fuel), well they got an adapter set up to put an allison behind the cummins now might as well go all out, then just like a Phat Shaft 64 turbo

im assuming your talking about a drag car here.......you running front struts, control arms, or coilovers???? what rear suspension??? ladder bar, 4 link???

i would start with a 12 valve......a 180 or 215 pump....laser cut delivery valves, big injectors, 5GSK, main studs, head studs, damper, good head gasket, 66mm charger, typical 12 valve stuff.......i got a complete list of parts that i have bought so far......

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

so the 400 will handle the torque? I have 2 sitting in my garage. whats a good stall to run? Going to slowly put some parts together for this till the house is done then I should be able to really get going.
