Default Common Rail Exhaust

Done some searching with no real answers. I don't care much for the noise of a straight piped common rail. Its the only diesel that doesn't sound great without a muffler, and I would like something a little more refined. Anyone have any clips or experience with mbrp and silverline for comparison. I have always like the ATS exhaust, but don't feel like ponying up the $$ for it. Anyone have any reccomendations on sound?

I have MBRP cool duals and I love the noise... Mellow at idle but still sounds big rig. Cruising no drone mellow, full throttle nice deep and LOUD I love mine and would recommend it to anyone! BTW:

Thanks for the welcome and the quick reply. Prices seem to be pretty close to each other. Flip of a coin.

I had mbrp 5" and sounded pretty good. Then I straight piped it and loved the turbo sound but not really the exhaust sound. Someone described my exhaust as "sounding like a wet fart" LOL. But now I got silverline 4" duals and like em. Sounds. I'm gonna straight pipe it to check out that sound but I like the tone with the muffler. Just seeing how it sounds.

I had a muffler delete, but it wouldn't pass safety so I put on a 4" cat back stainless MBRP. The price was good ($400 from Ken's) and it fit like a glove. The sound isn't quite as good as it was with the delete pipe, but still much better than stock.

put a diamond eye 5" on my brother's CR, thought it would be ridiculously loud but it was actually perfect. still quiet enough for his two little kids in car seats.

I believe I'm going to go with the aluminized mbrp. If I don't like it I can always pawn it off on my brother
