I keep hearing that removing the DPF and EGR can improve fuel mileage and throttle response. I’m in Texas, so I’m wondering how that would affect passing emissions inspections. Has anyone here dealt with that situation?
I’ve looking into options like a 2020 Cummins EGR delete kit, but I’m not sure what all is involved. Would a custom tune be required to clear codes and prevent warning lights? If so, any tuner recommendations you’ve had good luck with?
