Default single tune drivability

so I'm about to upgrade my cp3 pump and I'm getting tired of the smarty leaving clouds all around town since I recently moved and now I have to deal with stop lights and city driving. I found a good tuner locally ,actually its Robert ivey tuning and he's kind of a middle man with the hp tuners software. but its a single tune setup flashed onto the truck and I'm just not sure about that. I could get everything to upload tunes from my laptop and could have 5 tunes written but its a few hundred more dollars. so now I do a lot of town cruising and never hook on to a trailer so I'm wondering if doing a single tune would be alright? I race but I also cruise a lot and don't know if a single tune could be a happy medium for both without ruining milage or dropping in power to much and hurt my amateur racing career .
