Default Any suggestions

I have a 2007 dodge ram, 2500 mega cab. 5.9 cummins turbo diesel, my first ever, so I'm learning.
I notice when I take a hill or even accelerate, theres a sound like an air leak, that comes from the passenger side under the dash. I don't hear it when cruising. I hate to go to a mechanic if I can handle the problem myself. Any suggestions?

possibly an exhaust leak. get underneath and look at the exhaust elbow, you'll have 2 clamps 1 right off the turbo and 1 on the downpipe shake your exhaust and see if either are loose and if they are should be 3/8 or 10mm to tighten the clamp up.hope this helps.
