Default Fuel in Oil

I have a 07 dodge 2500 with the 5.9 cummins. I had a rough idle and smoke so I replaced all 6 injectors with bosch remans from diesel auto power. I have about 2000kms on them now and it is adding a lot of fuel to the oil. I pulled everything back out and inspected it all. It appeared as if #1 connector tube wasnt properly seated so I replaced it and installed everything again.

I am still adding oil. I changed the oil and had it at the full mark and driving about 8-10 kms it is now a good inch above the full mark. I have about had it with this truck as it has be a nussance since I got it. I am guessing it is either a bad injector or a bad seal on the cp3. What would you reccomend I do now?

Thanks for any help!

Remans are never as good as new injectors. You will be way better off with new ones. Remans are a great way to save money from the get-go, but will cost you big in the long run with problems such as you are experiencing, and more such as severely washing out the rings, oil dilution to the point that your crank/rod bearings fail, burning a hole(s) in your piston(s)..... and so on. Never go "on the cheap" when it comes to injectors. Yes they are quite pricey, but not as pricey as a new or completely rebuilt engine, plus labor.

I would of never used the remans if I had known just how bad they were. Diesel Auto Power convinced me these were rebuilt by bosch and they werent having issues with them... If I didnt have double what the truck is worth already spent on this truck I would pull them and put a new set in. I didnt believe that the tubes could leak into the oil either but again DAP lead me to believe they could.

I am going to pull all 6 again and have them tested. Not sure what to do for long term... I have zero faith in these remans.

There are times in life that you just have to "take a bite out of that **** sandwich." Testing your injectors is a good idea and will help you decide how you want to proceed.
