WHAT THE TIP OFF WAS- THERE WAS ADDED WIRING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TIPM- VERY SLOPPY WORK DONE- RANG THESE WIRES- FOUND THEM SHORTED, snipped them, issue resolved. thanks to all for showing an interest in this issue.

That's a great find!! Your troubleshooting skills got a workout on that one!! I would have never guessed to look at the mirror wiring Do they have the aftermarket blinker lights in them?
