Wow... here's the thread. I was waiting for it, then forgot... I'm not the villiage idiot for nothing.

I can echo everything said by GRI. In my endless search of throwing money to people, I've still got a truck that bounces between the lines. Alignment shop says everything is in good shape. I've got the DSS brace (it's not modified like the one you see pictured above). I noticed very very little difference in steering when I added the brace. Like GRI said, the steering was tighter, but it still wanders just the same.

I would have hoped that the PSC box would be the fix. But it may take the box and a steering shaft.... or I may just continue to fight it all the time.

I don't mind the fight so much as I hate the paranoia that my steering gear is gonna explode on me one of these days while I'm pullin a load. Like the rest of ya I just got done changin out most of the suspension and it drives better then a new truck now as far as the ride and the steering got better but it's still not there yet.

Seems like if you could modify the brace to tie it into the steering box, kinda like the guy on PS did, only just leave the rest of the bracket.
It could not hurt to try and tie the frame together right? as long as the brace you build to tie in the steering box mounting bolts were the stronger of the 2.
or am I being a doofus?

I guess I'm just going to have to look at it,but either way a guy should be able to make a bracket like that one pretty easy, just take a little while..
