What are you looking to really get out of it. Some times to get replys you must be a little more discriptive
Mpg?
Power?
Power goal?
Budget?

you HAVE to use a programmer if you want to do deletes. no way around it. the truck will run horrible and will be a pain in the a.. if you do not use a programmer.
The dpf: Diesel Particulate Filter used for pollution control
the EGR: Exhaust Gas Re-circulation. This is the cable, motor, cooler just above the exhaust manifold, also it is the tube the goes from the cooler to the intake horn. inside the intake horn is a butterfly valve.. by doing this it is feeding exhaust back into the intake of the engine. You get a ton of carbon build up inside the intake horn. Cummins recommends cleaning the entire EGR system every 67,500 miles. I did this originally and saw how much carbon and exhaust goes back into the engine and said F. that! Now i can go longer between oil changes and my truck runs soooo much better!
Do the deletes. Its a lot to swallow up front but for how much more efficient it runs its totally worth it!

You have a few options for your 09 Cummins. We have H&S Mini Maxx, H&S XRT Pro, Race ME, Race ME Pro and TT Tuners. Depends on your budget and your needs.
