+1 on above. the deletes are kinda critical for longevity. seems like nothing kills an engine quite like making it eat its own excrement. works fine for some animals... not so much for mechanical things which previously had a reputation for lasting half a million miles plus.

several vendors have the CSP5 switch out now for EFI Live tuning, which enable you to swap between tunes on the fly. sometimes exhaust sensor sims can avoid the check engine dings, sometimes they can't. worst case though, doing full deletes (completely getting rid of EGR, DPF, cat, etc with replacement stuff) drops about 100 lbs from the truck...

air intakes are sexy and all, but most of the research i've done on them indicates that the stock airbox and mopar filter are more than sufficient up to about 500 rwhp, so unless you're planning on exceeding that, the money is probably better spent elsewhere considering the relatively negligible gains they offer. but that's if it's my money. aftermarket intakes will also let you hear the turbo a little more, so if that's your thing, there's that plus. you can get a little more sound though by gutting the torque tube (the fat straight section between the bends) and yanking the little bent air guide from the turbo end. i'm not familiar with the VGT on the late 3rd gens, but i picked up a LOT of whistle in my 06 by pulling the silencer ring. if the VGT has one, that'll noise it up a little for ya as well though i don't think there's any actual benefit.
