man i'm all about noise and i think i'm just gunna get the stacks. i asked my uncle today about it and he was tellin me that black smoke is badass but you kill your mileage when you do that. and payin 4.20 a gallon aint too easy on my wallet. so now i gotta decide between 5 and 6" bullhaulers or aussies. what do you think heavyduty?

thanks, clay

you know they make 7 inch aussies now

You can get a quad max mileage thatl boost you up to 22+mpg. you only waste fuel if you have a heavy foot. you can squeeze over 20mpg with an economy tune. or you can get a quad xzilleraider that is adjustable on the fly for smoke or mpg.

But if you want stacks....

stacks won't hurt your hp...no matter how big they are. it's the pipe leading to them.

i would

anything past 4 inches wide hurts hp and trq(if your not making over 500hp) and mpg.

if you want sound 5 inch turbo back to 7 inch aussies will give you one deep tone.

yes 4 inches is about as big as you can go with out losing power, but 5 inches sound better IMO and you only lose like 5 hp anyway if that with a 5 inch down pipe

Theres vendors on this website that can give you great deals on stacks. Just make a new thread in this forum Price Quote - Request A Price - Diesel Bombers and ask for a price on what exhaust system you want.

Even if you ask for just 7 inch stacks they will help you with getting you what u want with all the hardware and piping for a good deal.

but can i just keep the stock 4" turbo back pipe and run that to the stacks, whether they are 5,6, or 7"? cuz if i redo all the turbo back pipe its gunna cost me another $300-500.

thanks, clay

I believe so, you can still use your 4" down pipe i think.

the only parts of the system that is 6 or 7 inches are the stacks itself. the rest is either 5 inches or 4 inches that includes the Y pipe, flexpipe, elbow, and down pipe

you can get a kit to adapt right to your 4", most kits though go five inches into the y-pipe that goes into the bed and to the stacks. But that's no big deal, just order a 4-5 inch adapter instead of 5-5 inch.
