Default edge additude giving false psi

I have a 01 cummins w the edge additude w juice. I am currently showing 12 fule psi on the programmer display. As soon as i accelerate and give it just a little fuel it drops to 4 then 2 then 0. Truck dosent hesatate one bit and just keeps on pulling as long as I hold down the pedal. Could this be a false reading. It shows 0 fuel psi but will give a 20 pnd boost on "drive" mode. Im new to the cummins. Usually a ford man till the 6.0 burnt me.

Have you updated your Edge recently? Also call them, could be a malfunctioning Edge or possibly your ECM took a little brain fart, sometimes ECM's do werid things, and the way to fix it is to reflash or update.

yeah I just got it back 3 days ago I have only had the truck 3 weeks and the display was burnout on my programmer so they tested it. I tried to call them to ask about it but they will not be back in the office until January the second. I guess I'm just really wanting to know could this hurt anything if I'm driving like this but I would think with 0 PSI that eventually this motor would stall
am I correct...

Do you still have a stock lift pump? The vp44 has a built in pump so it will run with 0 fuel pressure.Stock lift pump will run out of steam quick at full throttle.

Well after all I have read about these lift pumps I just parked it and ordered a raptor 150. It does have a newer lift pump on it but with all the work I have done to it, the new napa brand lift pump just isnt doing the job. I got 150 horse injectors and afe intake and a new slightly bigger vp44 that was just put on in oct. Not to mention an Edge attitude w juice and a cs module. It came in today, hope to have it on by thursday and hopefully my worries will be over!

I had the edge juice with attitude as well and it was doing that until I bought a raptor 150 and I ended up gettting hot unlock as well which made it run with way more power. however the clutch didnt hold it and it ended up slipping.

GOT MY PUMP ON AND MY TRUCK HAS COME ALIVE. IM GOING TO POST PICS LATER OF THE MESS I RAN INTO WHEN I WENT TO PLUG THE QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS ON THE TANK. THE PREVOUS OWNER HAD BROKEN THE FITTINGS, TOOK SOME HALF INCH HOSE AND RAN INTO THE FUEL MODULE AND TRIED TO SILICONE IT. A BAD BAD WAY TO TRY TO RIG SOMETHING. I HAD TO BUY THE WHOLE UNIT WITH A PUMP IN IT FOR 250.00 BUCKS AND RIP OUT THE PUMP AND RIG IT UP SO IT WOULD BE RIGHT. OTHERWISE MY TRUCK IS RUNNING AT 16 PSI AND DROPS TO 12 WOT. A MAJOR IMPROVMENT. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP
