I've been lookin into getting a new dodge but haven't quite settled on what year I want. I came across a 1979 power wagon with a 360 block which means that it runs on gas it also has a manual tranny. But I also found a 5.9L cummins engine and wondered if it would be possible for me to take the 360 out and replace it with the 5.9L cummins?

 

is it a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ? the axles if the front is a Dana 60 will work along with rear dana 60 but anything else from Gasser won't tranny is different it would be Much easier if you found a Donor truck to use for part's .
