i drove my friends 08 3500 chassie cab drw, it has a 6.7 in and compared to my 03 5.9 it is really loud is this normal for that year 6.7 to be that loud ??? the truck is stock as far i know

 

they shouldent be horribly load but I think my friends 6.7L a lilttle louder than his cousins 03' but if its sounds like a 2 nd gen then you might have injector issues.. or injection pump issues.

 

it's really loud you can even here it if you like any where near the truck like driving behind it i haven done that much invesatgating on it unless some has mod. it and didn't realize it and it still has a stock exsaused unless it truely stright piped, i only driven it once i might get hold of it again soon it due to detailed for this weekend
