It all depends on what you want to do with the truck.

A 66 is not a problem, if the truck is setup properly.

On a 12V the 64 is a lot more friendly.

All that being said. I run a 72mm currently. So, what is your precise question? Driveability is a subjective thing.

well im lookin at runnun an Aurora 5000 so thats a 71mm. From dealing with ATS as much as i have and them knowing how i drive they say itd be some what streetable biut i was lookin for yalls opinion. once that turbo is one this truck will no longer be a daily driver. but i want to be able to drive it on the street still. the truck is gonna do both drags and pulls.

and yes ill have the fuel to spool the 5000

Thanks

I wouldn't want to run a K31 (Aurora 5000) as a daily. But, as you pointed out your truck will no longer be a daily. In that case have at it.

The 71s make a pretty good charger. But, I wouldn't be willing to run a non-wastegated K31. To keep from overspooling the charger you will have to sixe the exhaust housing a bit large, which gives up some spool up. This is fine on a sled truck. But for drag racing I'd want a tighter WG housing.

Just something to consider.

THAT would be the way to go.

As far as in twins, I ran a K31 over a 96mm S510 a while back. Nuts would be an understatement.

I have a 71mm charger that I daily drive. It's not to bad. I have to keep the engine rpm up. If I lug the engine around it will smoke like crazy.
