Anyone installed a mechanical air compressor on a 5.9?

couldnt you run power steering of the back of air compressor.thats what older semi trucks did

yes you can, find a pump off a industrial equipment 5.9 and it will bolt right up.......you may have to make custom lines though, but that shouldnt be over 150-200 bucks at the most........

Find a wrecked freightliner fl70 with a cummins holstet made ont that drive off the accesory drive and fits nicley in the frame rails my buddy has one in his 97 thinkin of puttin one in mine

I know the Back hoe we have an work has an air compressor on it. However its a 4bt with a VE pump. Might be worth looking into for some 1st gen guys. Its a 70 something Case.
