not directed towards diesels....

blow off valve releses the pressuer thats still in the system when the trottle blade closes. blow off valves also work off of vacuum.

the waste gate come open at a preset psi( different springs, different psi), anything over that psi is let out into the open or pumped back into the exhaust

most after market turbo kits has a non waste gated turbos with and exturnal waste gate, tial waste gates are the gets waste gates you can buy.

ive been around may forced induction applications so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

buy a bigger turbo if you want it loud.

the bov from bd is easy to install, its bout 600 i thank. it has a little computer in it to make it operate since theres no vacuum to open it.

I yanked off mine today.I was expecting it to be much louder than normal, but it wasn't.I could hear the turbo a little more, but not to loud. Then i drove it on the freeway.I really liked the way it made the turbo whistle a little more, very tolerable.I'll leave it off for a week and see what it does to my fuel economy.

I just put mine back in last month, since i added "b-quiet" to the cab the whistle was getting annoying on long trips. Now it makes a whining noise on acceleration.
