I found out that Kevin at TI Dyno is picking up the dyno later today, and will be installing it back into the pit. Mustang Dyno is supposed to be out at TI Dyno tomorrow morning, to connect everything up, and install the software. There will be a couple trucks there to test once the dyno is up and running. When I know the dyno is situated, and operational, and has had one test pass...I'm gonna bring out a big dog, and we're gonna see what that machine does with a truck with some power. So, as long as everything goes smoothly tomorrow, we will be a green for go on March 24th!

It's official, the dyno is back in the pit. I'll be going out there tomorrow morning when Mustang is out there connecting everything up. We should have a truck out there for testing, and a pulling truck later in the week I hope. I'll be sure to post pictures...

Default BREAKING NEWS....

Now that I have your attention...LOL

GOOD NEWS:
All things went well with the first testing of the dyno. TI Dyno tested a 07 Duramax with a mild tune, and a exhaust upgrade...that's it. The dyno performed well, and according to the Tech, it worked as it should've. I'm still trying to get my hands on a pulling or race built truck, to test the dyno with...to ensure it performs exactly like they say it should...basically stalling out vehicles. That's how much load this machine is capable of doing... Now...with that said... here is the "Breaking News"...

TI Dyno is going to combine the Rainbow Baby's and Children's Hospital charity dyno run, along with Spring Meltdown 2012. The new date and it is SET IN STONE (given the weather here in NE Ohio doesn't decide to crap out on us) is April 14th. Pushing this date out gives Kevin and the TI Dyno crew time to do repairs to the entrance ramp, install a exhaust fan (anyone who has been to a diesel dyno day there knows it fill up with smoke and soot often) and try and widen the exit door. Fixing the entrance ramp, and installing the exhaust fan is the top two things on his list, and with Mustang pushing out the delivery of the dyno like they did, Kevin at TI Dyno just feels it's better to push the date out, and fix and repair things correctly. The plus side to this is...it gives us a little over a month to advertise, and try and get some local sponsors on board to help with prize donations!

I should have the flier for the event done later this week, and will be posting it up on this forum here, and others Grand Rock / Powerflow advertises on. Anyone who wants a copy of it to hang up at your local establishments let me know, and I'll email the file to you.

Also, the guys at Cowboy Construction (sponsor of this event) had a REALLY good idea I think. They suggested to find a local establishment, and have them "sponsor" a run. TI Dyno will be charging $75 for a 3 pulls...$25 of that is going to go to Rainbow Baby's and Children's Hospital. Any sponsor money you get can go towards that charity. For example, I know the Cowboy Construction truck will be sponsored by "Philips Towing" there in Geneva Ohio, and they are going to sponsor like $10per run...that's an extra $30 to go towards Rainbows! I think this is an AWESOME idea, and hope that it will help raise extra $$$ for the kids up at Rainbow Baby's and Childrens Hospital.

So...that was the breaking news...I hope eveyone can understand the decision that was made, and I hope eveyone will be able to make this event. Like I said, I will have this flyer done before the end of the week, so it can be used to help get that sponsor money together!! Any questions please let me know!
