Ohio Bombers Dyno Day/Gathering & Rainbow Babies And Childrens Hospital Fundraiser!
 

Hello everyone,
I am Craig G. the Regional Director for the Diesel Bombers Ohio Region. I am putting together a dyno day and fund raiser for the Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital. Although I am very fortunate to have 3 very healthy and wonderful children, there are those brave little souls out there that fight every day with more strength then even I as a grown adult could imagine! I don't think there are many better ways to give then to bring a smile on a child's face!
Ever since I took "ownership" of the Ohio Regional Group Monster12Valve and myself have been bouncing ideas around to get a big gathering or event up to North East Ohio! We keep saying that THIS year is the year we are going to try to get Ohio members active. Maybe even get some non Ohio members to come play with us over here in Ohio.

WELL, here is our first chance!

We are working very hard to put together a EPIC event for you guys! RDP Motorsports will be hosting a dyno event for us that will promise to be amazing! Myself and the owner of this Ab-So-Friggin-Lutley Amazing custom vehicle shop talked for a while about his shop and our event! In the end he said he has hosted a bunch of dyno days before and some of the things he has done before and can do for us would put a smile on your faces! Their dyno can handle 2000hp and can be moved outside to save everyone from looking like we were playing in an active volcano. They have hosted burnout competitions that were judged by the county Sheriff! He has a guy with a top fuel dragster GRILL for cooking our food. They have an amazing shop with amazing cars and quite a few in stock parts from fuel management to forced induction accessories! Also they have LOTS of room to stuff trucks!
We also talked about pricing. For one I plan on covering hotdogs and burgers we will also try to get donations for food/drink if possible. ALL food proceeds will go toward R.B.C Hospital. He said that 75$ will get you 3 pulls on their dyno with a barrage of data that they can read of their dyno that can be specially setup for Diesel!! Now i know that's about the GOING rate for a dyno day BUT he told me 20$ of each pull will be given to R.B.C Hospital!! That is awesome!
I am currently on a hardcore mission to contact ALL our sponsors AND local vendors, stores, shops, etc to help donate towards the raffle! ALL money made on the raffle will of coarse go to R.B.C. Hospital! As vendors check in I will announce the prizes for the raffle! When it comes to charity ANY prize is a good one! Stickers, Gift cards, apparel, or performance parts... we'll be happy anyway!


Its super easy to find and is right off of State Route 44. State Route 44 is a main connection for State Route 2 and Interstate 90. If you can work google maps you can find this place!

I am going (by suggestion of some of our great Admins) to contact the fellows at Ohio Coal Rollers and see if they would like to join us for a good time!

Everyone...

I am going to contact Classic Ford, Dodge, Chevy and see if they will let us borrow their diesel trucks for the event so people can check them out... Drool on them... Maybe we can get them on the dyno too? That would be awesome! Maybe they will throw in some gift certificates to their parts dept?
I also plan on hitting up our local parts stores... AutoZone, Advance Auto, and NAPA!

Do i feel like a Mooch? Yup! But Im Mooching for a good cause! :yeah:

Still debating the DJ. May contact 104.7 and see if they will bring out the Country Cruiser and they broadcast live from the event!! Thats a bonus too!!

Well guys I have some updates for the raffle donations! A bunch of vendors are still not sure what they will put up for the raffle because it is still a long time away. However IF i have the info I will list it. Otherwise I will just list them as TBA.

Luke From Diesel Dawgs PMed me, he said he will hook us up for the raffle! He is going on a cruise though (lucky jerk LOL) so he will give us more details when he gets back!

I get more excited by the day, I will probably have a heart attack by the time it gets here!

Vouchers might be easiest! That way they have more options on colors and such...

That is perfect! If you have any business cards or anything to advertise you send it around. I will make sure it gets seen or is availible for people!

I'll for sure bring the race truck down with the new power plant in it. We will shoot for the high fuel only horse power record for a common rail cummins. Then just maybe we will hit the juice and see if the dyno can keep up.
