How about a final update with everything your planning for those of us who may desire to come from farther away.I don't mind the ride(better than 6 hours for me)if the show is going to be worth the trip but I do not want to ride and find out its a flop.

You stated earlier that he can move the jet outside and that may work with good weather but your long term weather forecast for your area has rain in it for that day.So what will the bad weather plan be for this show as I am certain that shop would not want coal rolling all over his built hemi's......Andy

 

Hey guys... sorry for the delay in posting. I had to resubscribe to the thread for one... I was not getting any notifications and did not realize there was more buzz going on.

Here is the problem... I had sent some mails to some donators and recieved no response back, same for the dyno shop. I finally contacted him on the phone and it appears that in his inbox the emails from my gmail account were going straight to his spam box. I have since been contacting him through my work email account with no issue. He had some concern that he may be moving to his new shop around next weekend. I held off some and waited to push any of the sponsors in case we couldnt secure the date. He told me last week it that they werent going to move... A little late to beg sponsors to send things because of the short notice.

At the moment the only things for the raffle if PHYSICALLY HAVE are the 2 100$ gift certificates, T-shirts, Stickers, and Keychains from BD Diesel! To whom i have to thank again very much for!!

Having the dyno day next weekend with little more then 1 sponsor doesn't pull the attraction i want to have for the cause.

Basically because of my own douchbaggery and some epic communication failure I would like to push the dyno day back. This would give a chance for the people who were going to sponsor us to send everything. I want this event to be HUGE with some epic give-away stuff. Please forgive me for the mess.

I was thinking a month from now but if anyone who was planning on bringing a HUGE group has a suggestion let me know. Otherwise I was thinking Saturday the 23 of July.

Again i am greatly sorry for the delay and issues!

That, and as posted above, it look like a pretty good chance of rain this weekend.

 

I was informed also that the will for sure be in the new shop if we move it to the end of July! This WILL allow dyno runs inside because they are installing an epic smoke collection system!

Still want some info on the date guys... if you have any problems with end of July??

There is stuff going on somewhere every weekend.
It pays to plan ahead, well in advance, it's the only way to get a good crowd.
I'll try to keep current with what's going on but can't promise anything.

Maybe a Fall date would be best. End of September-ish?
Just a thought.
