Hello my Canadian friends. Any of you fellas know of this firm http://www.rj-performance.com/info.html? I ordered an ISB 305 to replace my blown 250 through RJ Performance. I spoke with Jon. It, in my opinion, has been way to long. I ordered in mid July. The delivery date has been pushed back 3 times now "give:. The last being yesterday.
Any information on their reputation would be appreciated.

Hey Hawg Hunter, I have never dealt with them, or even heard of them before, but if there company is like any other company in Alberta, there is a shortage of staff like you wouldnt believe. If you spend some time up here, you will know what I mean, every where you look there is help wanted signs. Its crazy to think that customer service has dissapeared due to the lack of good work, "sir, I dropped your taco, Ill get it, OW, OW, OW".

I am not sticking up for them, but if it is the Calgary branch that you ordered from, maybe they are in the same boat.

Also, Customs like to hold shipments. I order parts off Ebay outta Texas in mid July and have yet to see them. Some times it takes about 10 days, other times I have waited up to 2 months to get something across the border.

I hope you have some good luck and didnt get ripped off

If youve paid them, they owe you parts and an explanation. July was 9-10 months ago - nothing gets held up at customs that long - 1 month tops.

 

Hey mitch, I finally got the engine in November. I was given all kinds of excuses. Even that the engine was stolen at the Customs depot. I have learned that that one has been used before and since. I can't believe that engines get stolen from Customs at the rate they claim. Jon was sincere but I think "Full of $h1t". Buying time. Stay on his case.

BEWARE, I,VE ORDERED 2- 7.3 FORD ENGINES SO FAR. FIRST ONE IN DEC. 08. SUPPOSED TO HAVE 68,000 KM ON IT. PAYED GOOD MONEY FOR IT UP FRONT. IT HAD BEEN PRESSURE WASHED REAL WELL BUT SOME SPOTS YOU JUST CAN'T GET. IT RUN OK BUT AM SURE IT HAD A LOT MORE KM. THAN THAT (68,000) ON IT. SECOND ONE IN FEB.09. SUPPOSED TO HAVE 37,000 KM. ON IT. SUPPOSED TO BE 4-DAYS DELIVERY, TOOK OVER THREE WEEKS. I HAD HIM E-MAIL ME PICS. OF THE ENGINE, LOOKED GOOD AND CLEAN. PAID FOR IT UP FRONT ALSO, WHEN IT SHOWED UP, NOT THE SAME ENGINE AS ON THE PICS. WOULDN'T EVEN TURN OVER. ENGINE WAS FULL OF WATER AND FROZEN. ALSO VERY DIRTY AND RUSTED EVERY WHERE. LOOKED LIKE IT HAD 237,000 KM ON IT. I HAVE LOST THE JOB AND THE CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THIS, HAD THE OLD ENGINE ALREADY OUT. JOHN DOES NOT WANT TO RETURN MY MONEY UNTIL HE HAS THE ENGINE BACK FIRST. THINK IT WILL HAPPEN?????? YA RIGHT. I TOLD MY SELF THIS WOULD HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER.

 

Anyone know if RJ Performance in Alberta is related to RJ Performance in Montreal?
