I am sure you mean National Events but:

We (ODRA) were in Hallettsville, TX. back in July '09 for a Sled Pull which sits right between Houston and San Antonio....and in the Dallas/Ft Worth area we average 6 Events per year....and in San Angelo area they have Events (racing) almost every month...and my understanding is that they have a race night monthly in Houston at HRP (I would have to double check that)...not sure where you live but I bet there is something going on around you all the time.

DeLeon Sled Pull was just August the 6,7 and 8th '09 which was a blast.

We (ODRA) are heading to the Laps for Charity Event on Sat. Sept 26 '09 at the Texas Motorspeedway and the NADM/ODRA Race/Sled Pull is on Sat. Oct 10th '09 at the Dallas Raceway in Crandall.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!!!

goto a question about the hitch height in the work stock and 2.6 class. the ranch hand bumper i have wont let me run a good pulling hitch at a height above the reciever because the bumper gets in the way. Usually ive been putting the clevis on the ranchhand directly and its been alright to use in the workstock classes ive pulled.

but would i need to have one mounted in the reciever to pull in the 2.6 class?
and whats the mac hitch height i didnt see it listed on the NADM site.

Hitch height is a max of 26in for a 4x4...I have 2 hitches one homemade and one "pro" built you are welcome to try either one out...I ran a ranch hand also with both...now I have a rollpan and relocated the hitch a bit...I have the white CC 02 LB7 with Outlawdra stickers on it.

If you are going to run the NADM 2.6 Class my "guess" is you would need to try one of my hitches or bring your own... I cant speak for the open class.

Here is a link to the NADM Sled Pulling Rules: I dont think they will tech a clevis for the NADM Class...but dont quote me.

I will check with Bobby about the shield issue (maybe there is a one time pass???) but in every association, to run in the Class, that I have read about you need them. I have seen you pull before, why dont you have them?

They are inexpensive to build and are smart for safety.

if i could i would build them, but i dont have the tools or the money at this time since im back in college again.

ive been to 3 events for sled pulling over the past years so u might be thinking of someone else, i would haven been to more but bs with waiting for parts and random stuff breaking or falling apart on me have been keeping me from events.

i have heard something about them not doing the open sled pull.. is this true? i have 3 guys that wanna pull, but their trucks will not pass for work stock(no registration, etc.) and make no sense to pull in the 2.6 or 2.8. another does not pass safety regs as he does not have the air shut off and what not. let me know. thanks. also are they still doing the fun drag runs? i would do that!!! haha. since i'm not an NADM member i cannot race in the others and makes no sense to be a member since i have never been to another race nor are there enough close enough to get into. also i'm just trying to get mine under 15's with tiny injectors. LoL

04redstroker, after last year CTD is looking at not having the dyno in Buda anymore. i can track down dave and ask him or ask cody and i will make sure to let you know. there were rumors about it being at the drag strip next year w/ a mobile dyno so we can race and dyno, but with the amount of ppl we dyno'd at ART we couldn't do near the amount of trucks in 3 days on a mobile dyno. the guys at ART did well over 100 trucks in a day and a half. day one i think they came in at around like 80 or somewhere around there. LoL
