Diesel Bombers will be Representing at The New Lexington FFA Truck Pull on Apr. 26th at the Gun Club


We have a 10x10 Canopy Set up with Chairs and a Table with screen shots of the site , Ink Pens and Promo Cards and a Big Container of Candy for the kids and a Portfolio of Bomber Gear

Diesel Bombers will be suppling all the Trophy's for the Diesel Classes in 2008 !

Tractors start @ 2pm and Trucks @ 5pm

General Rules
1. All pull committee decisions are final.
2. No alcoholic beverages permitted on grounds.
3. All tractors must run on governors, no blowers.
4. No nitrous oxide, propane or compressed fuels, top fuels only: tanks and lines must be removed before pulling.
5. Pull committee reserves the right to bar rule violators from future pulls.
6. Pull must be in straight line run: excessive weaving or recklessness is grounds for disqualification.
7. No entry refunds for disqualifications or breakdowns during class.
8. It is the responsibility of the puller to know which class the vehicle belongs in.
9. If you pull in class above originating class and win, you cannot drop back to lower classes.
10. 350 foot out of bounds will be enforced.
11.Class entries made after class is closed will require double entry fee.
12. All vehicles must weigh out after pull.
13. Any loss of parts while pulling will be disqualified.
14. All participants under 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature.
15. Pull Committee, Gun Club, or Perry County Recreation Association are not responsible for lost or stolen items or accidents.
16. Protests are to be made before class starts.
17. Protests are to be made by class participants only.
18. All participants must sign liability waiver at registration.
Truck classes and rules:
Truck Classes:
1. 5800 Lb. Stock gas
2. 6200 Lb. stock gas
3. 6000 Lb. Cheater stock
4. 6500 Lb. Cheater stock
5. 7200 Lb. Stock Diesel & Cheater Stock
6. 7600 Lb. Stock Diesel
7. 8000 Lb. Cheater Stock Diesel
8. 8000 Lb. Open
5800lb Stock Truck and 6200lb Stock Truck
No visible engine modifications, no headers, must have exhaust system, no bar tread tires (not even D.O.T. approved), no blocked suspensions, no bolted springs, no welded shocks, no air shocks, factory carburetor, factory fuel injection or factory intake must have block for model of truck according to V.I.N. number, must be street legal and driven to pull, license and registration required at entry, all weights in bed, may have lift kit (8 inches maximum), no exotic suspensions, no spare tires, snow plow frames or winches on front of truck, 24 inch maximum hitch ( will be measured at attaching point of clevis), minimum of 48 inches to center of rear axle, must be pulled from bumper or reese hitch, must pull rear of reese hitch, all parts of hitch must be behind the rear axle, trucks will be inspected after pull, truck must weigh out after pull.

6000lb Cheater Stock Truck
No bar tread tires (not even D.O.T. approved), all weights in bed of truck, must have same make of block as vehicle manufacturer (ex: Chrysler and Plymouth is Dodge/ Lincoln and Mercury is Ford/ G.M. is Chevrolet) License and registration is required at time of entry, no dominator carburetors, no spare tires/snow plow frames/ or winches on front of truck, prefab brush guards only, must have stock front bumper, may have lift kit, ladder bars are allowed, no exotic spring or frame modifications, no blocked suspensions, registration must match the V.I.N. number on truck, 24 inch maximum hitch height ( hitch will be measured at attaching point of clevis), minimum of 48 inches to center of rear axle, must pull from rear of reese hitch, all parts of hitch must be behind rear axle, truck must weigh out after pull, must have exhaust system with mufflers exiting behind cab, may be hauled in or out, 33 inch maximum tire. All accesories must be crank driven and may have mini pulling hitch no shorter than 48 inches. All parts behind rear axel. No aluminum heads and No electric water pumps.
6500lb Cheater Stock Truck

7200lb and 7600lb Stock Diesel Truck
Truck must be stock in appearance, engine and drive train must come from factory in 1 ton or less pickup truck, diesel fuel and bio-diesel are the only fuels allowed. Smoke must exit up through stacks or turn up on exhaust pipe, must pull off a reese type hitch, hitch point must be 48 inches from center of rear axle and a maximum of 26 inches high (will be measured from attaching point of clevis), all weights must be in bed of truck. No bar tread tires (not even D.O.T. approved), no nitrous, propane, or any other pressurized fuels permitted (any tanks, lines, ect... must be removed before pulling),truck must weigh out after pulling. U-joint sheild and drive shaft loopes are suggested.Must be driven to and from pulls.


8,000lb Cheater Stock Diesel Truck
Single turbo only, may have traction bars, no bar treaded tires (not even D.O.T. approved), no cut tires, no boggers, may haul in or out, must have stock drive train components, all weights in bed of truck, no spare tires/ snow plow frames/ or winches on front of truck, may have lift kit, no blocked or exotic suspensions, 26 inches maximum hitch height, 48 inches minimum to center of rear axle.(hitch will be measured at attaching point of clevis), all parts of hitch must be behind rear axle, must pull from rear of reese hitch, truck will be inspected after pull, blow-proof bellhousing, transmission blankets, and all diesels must have upturned exhaust, dual wheels allowed, no gas trucks, must weigh out after pull. Must have U-joint sheild and drive shaft loopes required. Must have working kill switch.

5500 Lb and 6500 Lb Antique Tractor
1954 or earlier make, 18 inch maximum hitch height, hitch will be measured at the attaching point of the clevis, drawbar minimum of 18 inches from center of rear axle. Weights must be secured, restart option before 75 feet, 5 mph speed limit NO CUT TIRES.

4500/5500/6500 Lb Farm Stock Tractors
18 inch maximum hitch height, hitch will be measured at attaching point of clevis, drawbar minimum of 18 inches from center of rear axle, 18.4 inch tire maximum, all weights must be secured, loss of any part of equipment including weights while hooked to sled will result in disqualification, restart option before 75 feet.
