Heres to a quick recovery...

A buddy of mine had a nasty fall while skiing. A collar bone and left shoulder. Three pins and two surgeries later, he's back on the slopes... Get well...

Thanks guys! Yeah I think I am done for the year, but next year I'll beback atit. Its just too damn fun up there to hang it up. Sure makes typing at bitch . . . . .

Doc says about 6 weeks, I have to go back for a checkup this week, probably for xrays and to pull the stitches.

Yeah, I heard the arm break (left, and I am right handed, thankfully!) and right away I knew I was in trouble. After the tumbling stopped, checked to see if anything else was efed up. Nope. Unlocked my board and started walkin down the hill! Sucks, it was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Great to hear your going to be ok. Here is hoping for a speedy recovery!

I worked the rental shop at a ski resort for 5 years, first season i was just another tech , last 4 I moved up to supervisor, I ran the groomer some too and was on the ski patrol.

I used to see people come in with broken arms every day, and it was always their first time on a board too. wasn't too often i saw someone as mangled as you seem to be though , but it did happen. We have only had one death on the hill that i know about, and i am glad i was not at work that day...

Sucks to hear that Jason. But, knowing you as well as I do, you'll be back to your old self in no time. Does this mean you're coming back from Washington early?

I wish! I have to see this unit get to a position where its ready for start up procedures first. 2 weeks. Whether its ready or not, I'll be south bound. Thats my limit. I have trucks waiting I will not make them wait longer.
