I just bought a 77 cj5 with a t19 trany and want to do a omc617 swap. Is there anybody that has done a simular swap that can help with advice. I know kotch makes adapter to the ax 15 but not shure if it will work with the t 19? i dont think so? they also make a adapter to a t176 but not shure if same bell housing as t19. and advice is apreciated.

 

You definetly want to use a 5spd with that motor.

 

I have a t19 4 speed with a 300 twin stick and realy dont think i can find a 5 speed that will be as strong so i will use. I plan on going to low gears since i never drive on highway.
