I would like to use the stock 98 dodge tach but from what i found
#1 blk lt blue ground
#2 vio white 5 volt supply
#3 gry blk tach feed


but I dont have those color wires it is a 98 12v I know I can use the cam sensor from the ford but I wanted to keep this part stock if possible

 

did you put the dodge gauge cluster in the ford?

what I have found out on the tach thing the cam sensor will work in place of the cummins just have to ground one wire and take and splice 2 wires at pcm connector

but I would love to be able to use the cummins sensor I should be able to tell you in a couple of days if it will work or not

this is how i wired it up

cummins side

black-- ground
red--- 12v feed
green--- sensor


ford side

used cam sensor wires

one wire hooked to black and ground

other wire sensor

pcm

took #48 & 85 and tied them together before pcm
