69 chevy c/50 with 12v cummins
purchased a 69 chevy c/50 with 350 4 bolt main gasser in it...the motor is ****, but i guess after 42 years i would be 2, esp knowing that the last 25-30 years its been a **** spreader, as to why we bought it...was wondering how hard a conversion would be to drop a 12v cummins in it and get it to bolt up or would it be a pain in the ***? i have found a couple of 12v's running and at a good price. i could get one complete and running for what its gona cost me to rebuild the 350....what are yalls opinions?
A non-intercooled perhaps - don't count on there being any room to spare.
However, the engine sits lower relative to the cab in medium-duties than pickups. That will work in your favour.
